SHORT TERM
The seven sub committees of AWWA proposes various projects, short term and long term, at an annual general committee meeting. The committee then jointly discusses which project shall be undertaken for the fiscal year. The proposed projects then shall be led and managed by the person in charge of the subcommittee together with its respective members.Currently, three key short term projects were proposed,
- The committee of Micro-Industries has proposed training programs for traditional cooking and sewing as
short term projects. - The sub-committee on Education has proposed IT training to promote usage of the web and developing
content for websites. A resource person will be training the participants of this project. - Promotion of AWWA as a Women’s Welfare Association also will be focused to attract more members.
MEDIUM TERM
AWWA as an active Women’s association in the region, proposes medium term projects to achieve goals every year. Programs under each sub-committee focuses on designing medium term plans considering contemporary needs of the members. The vocational training center of AWWA is utilized as the venue where proposed plans of medium term are scheduled to be held focusing on the expansion of regular programs.
